How to Serve Customers with Time Concerns

11. "The Timekeeper"

Sure, it's a nice watch. If we owned it, we'd be looking at it all of the time, too! Let's not be naive, vanity is likely not the issue here. This guest is keen on the time of day. Find out why and play your part.

Are they meeting someone and they're late? Whether it's a business meeting or just a meet-up with a friend or a date, a little barkeeper chatter can take the edge off for a nervous guest. Read your watch-gazer and lay a coat of the right tongue-paint on them - just the right color and not too thick. Are they waiting on YOU? Maybe someone hasn't greeted them yet or they are waiting on food or drinks that they have ordered? Maybe they need their check? Look for the signs and respond accordingly.
